There is strong evidence that the art of puppetry goes back thousands of years. From the Chinese through all the civilizations culture has been propagated in this way and values disseminated with this easily transportable means. Four sticks and some curtains and a bag full of puppets is all the artful puppeteer needed to create tales of a thousand Arabian nights. In Japan and Taiwan these are highly venerated not only as culture but as little Gods. It is ironic that as long as you are human you cannot be God and as soon as you die they worship you. Jesus said " know ye not that you are Gods"? I guess that they see God in everything except themselves. I think that
